Ideal for tight spaces
The twin cylinder DGTZ from Festo is short, flat and extremely versatile. The versatility is ensured by the mounting options on four sides of this rigid and thus non-rotating twin cylinder that is also maintenance-free.
The DGTZ from Festo is much shorter than conventional twin cylinders. It thus supports the trend towards smaller machines that take up less space and are lighter, which in turn can have a positive effect on transport costs.
The drive and guide share a single housing and therefore do not need much space. The high rigidity is thanks to the plain-bearing guide featuring large-diameter guide rods and two plain-bearing bushes. The standard strokes are 10 to 100 mm.
Fast and flexible mounting
The sturdy and precise twin cylinder has minimal torque and lateral force. And the different mounting options make it quick to assemble. This is also facilitated by the redundant configuration of mounting holes, sensor mounts and supply ports.
The DGTZ is part of the Festo Core Range, which means short delivery times and worldwide availability. With its attractive price and long service life, the sturdy twin cylinder is a good fit for lots of applications.
