Taking customers by the hand along the value creation process
The System Configurator opens up the entire tool landscape of the design phase: customers can use it to design, select, dimension and configure their individual automation systems as a complete machine topology. Users can also configure specific components or entire load cases - from the PLC, drive controllers and remote I/Os in the AP network through to IO-Link devices. This enables customized automation solutions that are precisely tailored to the respective requirements.
Seamless collaboration
The System Configurator enables the storage and management of projects, parts lists and design data and integrates seamlessly into MyFesto Projects. This allows different functions in the customer's company to work together on the same project, for example by giving development engineers and purchasers access to the same data during the ordering process.
But that's not all: consistent data management via Projects allows design data to be imported directly into the Festo Automation Suite for efficient commissioning of the devices. This consistency offers several advantages: it facilitates the transition from planning to implementation, significantly reduces the time required for commissioning and at the same time reduces the susceptibility to errors.
In this way, Festo literally takes customers by the hand along the entire value creation process – from planning, development and procurement through to commissioning and maintenance. This makes the implementation of projects considerably faster, simpler and more efficient.
