Change in Management Board of Festo
Gerhard Borho will resign from his position as Member of the Management Board Information Technology and Digitalization on 30 November 2025 at his own request and by mutual agreement. Festo would like to expressly thank Gerhard Borho for his successful work and outstanding commitment.
Gerhard Borho has had a lasting impact on the company in many areas. He has held numerous leading positions since 2007 and was appointed to the Management Board in 2016.
Gerhard Borho has shaped Festo primarily in the context of the digitalization strategy: he laid the foundation for a universal automation platform. By launching the strategic technology partnership with Phoenix Contact, he fulfilled an important prerequisite for innovative solutions in an open ecosystem and thus also for future growth in electrical automation.
