At the Hydrogen Technology World Expo 2026, Festo will demonstrate how electrolyzers and hydrogen plants can be automated in a safe, modular, and scalable manner.

At Compamed, Festo will showcase the new CECC-AX controller in a liquid-dispensing application. It combines PLC programming with Python, enabling the flexible implementation of various functions in the smallest of spaces. This makes the controller ideal for use in compact benchtop devices and subsystems—such as in sample preparation, pre-analytics, or the automated handling of liquids and consumables.

Degassing and sealing are core processes in battery cell production that directly follow the initial contacting of the battery cells with electrical voltage. The battery cells are pierced with lances and the forming gas produced during contacting is extracted. Pneumatic and electric actuators from Festo are used to handle and pierce the battery cells.

With the blister packaging machine from IWK, sustainability is not just lip service: with recyclable packaging material, low energy consumption, high speed and ergonomics, the CABLIblue 870 card-to-card blister system is proving to be a real trendsetter. The use of electrical automation technology from Festo increases sustainability and efficiency immensely in this application.
