Driving Excellence with Industry Recognized Certifications at ACTE CareerTech VISION 2024
Visit Festo Didactic at Booth #921 Dec 4 - 7 in San Antonio, Texas
Today’s manufacturers rely heavily on a skilled workforce to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global market. Technical education plays a vital role in developing the skills and expertise needed to fulfill industry needs and ensure a thriving and sustainable workforce. With a focus on industry-recognized certifications that deliver true value, Festo Didactic, along with its industry partners and value-added resellers, are empowering the future workforce by bridging the gap between technical education and industry needs.
At this year’s CareerTech VISION, attendees can experience first-hand how Festo’s training methods are creating thriving ecosystems among educational institutions, industry, and certification bodies. At Festo’s booth, positioned alongside Snap-on and ATC, visitors can immerse themselves into a world of VR, AR, and robotics to get a glimpse of what the future of industrial work will look like. Frequent demos will be conducted to demonstrate Festo Didactic’s latest products and solutions as part of the innovative learning systems.
“We’re extremely proud to showcase what Festo Didactic has to offer students at all grade levels, from bionics for education kits to advanced Industry 4.0 certifications,” said Daniel Rodriguez, Director of Sales, Festo Didactic North America. “Every state in the nation is experiencing industrial workforce shortages, and we’re committed to providing educators and employers with what they need to inspire individuals to pursue in-demand careers in advanced manufacturing.”
Driving Excellence with Industry Recognized Certifications
NC3 and Festo maintain a strong commitment to supporting educators and employers, ensuring students who complete their programs will have the qualifying skills needed to enter a competitive workforce. On Thursday, December 5th at 2:00 pm, CareerTech VISION attendees are encouraged to participate in a special workshop facilitated by Festo and NC3 on the value and increasing demand for Industry 4.0 certifications.
Festo’s Industry 4.0 Certification Program (FICP) was developed in partnership with industry experts and educators to offer quality certification programs that meet the highest industry standards. FICP can be easily integrated with existing certificate, associate and bachelor degree programs, and offers four levels of certification including: STEM Lab Certifications, Level One (Fundamentals), Level Two (Applied), and Level Three (Advanced).
For the first time, NC3 will be offering FICP Level Three Advanced training for instructors this winter through its Train-the-Trainer program. The certification workshop will be held at Patrick & Henry Community College’s Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Complex from December 9-13 in Martinsville, Virginia. This Train-the-Trainer event offers the opportunity to earn all six Level Three certifications in one week.
Festo is also thrilled to announce that a smart sensors certification will be available in 2025.
“The best part about exhibiting at ACTE’s CareerTech VISION each year is seeing the reactions and enthusiasm around emerging technologies in technical education,” said Octavio Rojas, Sales Director for Festo Didactic US. “We have to get the latest innovations, like VR and AR technical training, into classrooms right away to help teachers and schools keep pace with the rapid changes that are taking place in manufacturing today.”
