Festo Didactic Showcases Advanced Workforce Training Solutions at Pack EXPO 2024
Festo Didactic’s demonstration focuses on hands-on learning systems for meeting the growing needs of manufacturers seeking to upskill their workforce. Didactic is promoting the importance of workforce development and technical education in the packaging and processing industries.
Since 2022, Festo Didactic and The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PMMI) have been working together to provide PMMI members and education partners with technical training and certification programs aligned with industry standards. Festo is PMMI’s preferred technical learning collaborator. This collaboration has helped many companies create tailored internal training programs that ensure their workforce is equipped to handle the latest technologies.
“This year, we’re focused on highlighting our core mission: upskilling and workforce development,” said Troy Manley, Sales Director, Food and Packaging, Festo North America. “We’ve seen tremendous success with global food producers, helping them educate and cross-train their staff to ensure they always have a skilled workforce ready for future roles.”
“Festo Didactic will showcase a functional educational system, offering visitors an opportunity to interact with the technology used to train and develop skilled workers,” said Karolyn Ellingson, Head of Industrial Workforce Development for Festo Didactic. “Show attendees can build and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical circuits, providing a real-world demonstration of Festo Didactic’s methodical approach to technical education.
