On 17 November, the time had come: the winning trophies were presented to the six winning teams by the fourth generation of the Stoll family and several Festo board members during the festivities at the Festo Training Centre in Esslingen/Berkheim.

The future belongs to human-robot cooperation. System builder BEC developed such a collaborative solution for Siemens Healthineers. It inserts coils weighing several tonnes precisely into the magnets of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines. Electric cylinders from Festo, which ensure the coils are securely gripped, play a crucial role here.  

The Operation Unit "Modular Valves" at the Festo plant in Scharnhausen, Germany, is one of the winners of the "Lean and Green Management Award 2022". The jury awarded the special "Lean Excellence" prize to the lean processes and cleanly applied standards. Efficient and resource-saving production is also an important building block in the sustainability strategy of Festo.
