The right control cabinet in a matter of minutes
With the Cabinet Guido Online from Festo engineers and designers working on water technology are able to create purpose-built, ready-to-install control cabinets in record time – and make considerable savings compared to conventional custom-designed control cabinets. It enables engineers and designers to configure and order their new control cabinet solution in a smart and intuitive way.
It couldn't be easier: the system designer describes the application, and the intelligent configurator creates a custom control cabinet solution. With the online tool, it only takes the designer a few minutes to configure a control cabinet that will control pneumatic process valves in water treatment plants. It only requires a few steps: enter the application, configure the cabinet, select and order.
Numerous variations possible
These custom-designed control cabinets can actuate four to twenty pneumatic process valves and process IO signals. They can be installed either indoors or outdoors depending on how they are configured. Before it is shipped out, every control cabinet is thoroughly checked to make sure it meets high quality requirements. For ATEX solutions in zone 2/22 or 1/21, Festo will prepare a custom offer on request. Circuit and connection diagrams in EPLAN, CAD model data, CE operating instructions and a CE declaration of conformity are, of course, included.
Cutting time to market
Cabinet Guide Online opens completely new horizons when it comes to custom control cabinet solutions and considerably reduces installation times. New standards also significantly shorten parameterisation and commissioning times. Machine builders can thus considerably reduce the time to market for installed control cabinets.
Thanks to this brand-new engineering tool, design engineers gain time and space for creativity in planning and project engineering processes for their companies’ core areas of technological expertise. Sifting through catalogues, tedious supplier RFQs, ordering individual components and creating time-consuming custom designs for control cabinets are thus a thing of the past forever.
Intuitive software
Engineering costs are dramatically cut, and detailed product knowledge is not needed. This intuitive software with its structured data entry ensures that the right components are selected.
Easy-to-understand questions about the application take the user step by step through the configuration process. Detailed product knowledge is not required. With Cabinet Guide Online you get a tailor-made control cabinet solution. It saves engineering time and costs.
