Festo, one of the world's leading manufacturers of automation technology, is fully integrating Eichenberger Gewinde AG from Burg in Switzerland as of April 1, 2026. In future, the Swiss company will operate under the name "Festo Gewindetriebe AG".

The decentralised IO system CPX-AP-I allows compact and lightweight I/O modules as well as the decentralised valve terminals from Festo to be integrated into major host systems in a flexible and scalable way. Another advantage of CPX-AP-I is its seamless connectivity from the field level right through to the cloud, providing access to features such as predictive maintenance. This makes digitalisation incredibly easy.

The Productivity Master, a modular demonstration system for personalised USB memory sticks from Festo, is showing how automation technology will evolve along the value chain when combined with digitalisation. Thanks to seamless connectivity, everything fits perfectly, from the mechanical and electric systems to the intelligence. The Festo automation platform provides an integrated and practical system to link all Festo engineering tools, components and solutions in hardware and software.
